Wheel Straightening

Due to the terrible winter we have had, and all the pot holes in our roads, we have noticed a huge increase in the number of people damaging their wheels. If a wheel hits a kerb or pot hole hard it can cause the wheel to bend, buckle or create what is known as a flat spot. This can cause the vehicle to ‘wobble’ when driven over or under a certain speed. We can repair flat spots that are on the inside of the rim. This repair is carried out at our depot; we can collect and deliver your wheels to you. We do have to make you aware that there is a small possibility that the wheel may be cracked. Depending on the severity of the crack we may be able to weld it. If it can’t be welded we will return your wheel but you will be unable to use it due to it being structurally unsound.
